Mahogany Sheraton Three Drawer Chest ca 1870

You're purchasing a (Scroll for photos below) Flame Mahogany Chest dating from late 1800s.  This piece has chamfered drawer bottoms and old style (hand made) drawer dovetails.  The finish on the outside is classic, flame mahogany.  Such dressers are both collectible and precious.  Slight carvings adorn the feet at front.  On the sides, a single plank of wood keeps the dresser sturdy.  Think of a tree as wide as the dresser and you'll realize how sturdy and unique this dresser is, heirloom quality.  A minor alteration here to the drawer knob to enhance its' collectability.
