You're purchasing a Mahogany Kneehole Desk from about 1940 made in Jamestown, NY.  Antique in colonial style has fine old finish, that's appealing everywhere and topped by a fitted glass sheet.  Glass was probably cut to size just for this desk, very rare.  All drawers tend to open and slide easily.  The patina (what makes antique furniture antique) is especially noticeable on the top writing surface and edges where it's a little darker from age.  It's a spacious desk of moderate size.  The roomy storage includes eight drawers, one of which is a hanging file size drawer (false front of double drawers). Desk is especially ideal for smaller size persons including teens as a study desk. Desk finish is smooth, provides ample top space for computer equipment and peripherals.   Dimensions: 31" height x 48" width x 24" depth
