You're purchasing a unique Mahogany Chair in Art Deco style with a carved crest. This chair features a shaped mahogany back in deep red with black accents. That wooden seat is exceptionally comfortable with a scooped seat and shaped at the edge for comfort behind the knees. A great addition to an entranceway or formal styled room. Piece dates to about 1890 and has only wear to one of the spindles on it's right side (it could be repaired, but sold as is). Hardwood mahogany legs and decorative section at the seat back plus on each side. Even the left and right side of the chair include decorative apron carvings. Use the armrests and compliment this with similar shaped, dark mahogany pieces.
