Mahogany Cedar Lined Chest from 1934

Bring this great cedar chest into your home or the best work chest in your garage.  The chest is simple and sturdy and homemade.  Either a blanket box or chest of mahogany lined with cedar at 5 feet long.  The lift top open easily at the edge and the brass bracket slides on both side for support.  The story of this furniture is written on the diagram shown on its' lid. The piece was made in 1934, in a high school in Illinois. The diagram describes how the piece was put together and its' owner was also it's creator.  Solid mahogany is always rare, though used in this sturdy and quite durable piece.  Dimensions: 22" height x 60" width x 19" depth
