You're purchasing a charming Blanket Box in Primitive features. Old lift top opens up to spacious interior (Scroll for photos below). Great for storing clothes of off season garments or spring and fall quick weather changes. The finish and hardware are much the same as a century ago, except it looks a century older. Trim sits at the piece's base and along the lid's top and top insert. There is a lock, as shown, though no key. We'll include a skeleton key for ornamental purposes. Notice the Box's sides, the dovetailing that's often attributed to drawers secures this chest perfectly now and for years to come. A few typical scratches on the finish but no weak spots.
